The EZ Dog Food Meal Planner is designed to let you choose...

Below is a list of wholesome "human" ingredients from which you can safely choose when you use our EZ Dog Food Meal Planner. We also list ingredients that you should avoid (and why). For each Meal, you can select ONE MEAT & ONE CARBOHYDRATE, then add the appropriate amount of soybean oil, Well Dog Omega-3 oil, and Well Dog Nutrient powder. You will get complete directions and more when you purchase a Starter Kit.

That's it! 5 ingredients and you have created complete and balanced food for your dog. Rest assured the food will exceed all of the nutrient requirements set by AAFCO & NRC (the two agencies that set the standards for commercial dog food). SEE OUR CHART OF NUTRIENT AMOUNTS

*If you wish to include veggies or fruit as snacks, (not necessary because the meals are already balanced) the EZ Planner helps with that too!

Nutrient Data Sheet

AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) & the NRC (National Research Council) set the standards for pet food. Commercial dog food is required to comply with these amounts before they are packaged. As a dog owner, you may be concerned that after packaging (heating in the can or extruding into kibble) what arrives at your dog's bowl may no longer meet those standards. You may also be concerned that the standards do not include any qualitative requirements for the ingredients, meaning they could contain gristle and other low-grade proteins.

When you purchase meat and carbohydrates and make dog food at home, YOU get to control the quality of ingredients yourself and have the peace of mind.

The chart below shows how The Hearthstone EZ Dog Food Meal Planner Nutrient values (when made as directed) rank with both the AAFCO and NRC amounts. As you can see, all of the values exceed 100%
